DR. SILVIA CAPENAKAS
DDS, MSc, PhD | Registered Orthodontist
Dr. Silvia Capenakas moved to Edmonton in 2017 to pursue her Master’s in Dentistry, followed by a PhD and specialty training in Orthodontics at the University of Alberta. She graduated from Paulista University in Brazil in 1997 and then practiced general dentistry for 20 years before relocating to Edmonton.
Dr. Silvia is passionate about clinical research and teaching. She continues to lead clinical trials and teaching at the University of Alberta. As a result of her research, she has presented her work at various conferences across the US, South America, and Europe.
Dr. Silvia’s passion lies in spending time with her husband and three sons, as well as travelling.
